 Lacie Brueckner

Managing Funeral Director

Lacie joined the staff at Myers Funeral Home in August 2013. She grew up and graduated from Hazen High School but her family is from the Underwood, ND area. She attended the University of North Dakota for two years, and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor's degree in Mortuary Science. Lacie worked as a Funeral Director at Baker Funeral Home in Mayville, North Dakota for eight years before coming to Linton. 

Lacie and her husband Chris (from Larimore, ND) have five children, Alex, Kraysten, Connor, Masen and Amaya. The family enjoys going to hockey games, camping, and spending time with Lacie’s parents who live in Bismarck.  

 Sylvia Orluck

Office Assistant

Sylvia grew up in Ray, North Dakota and graduated from Ray High School. She attended Minot State College where she received an Associate’s Degree in Secretarial Science. 

Sylvia married Bruce in 1975.  They have two sons, Mike (spouse, Elise) and Matt; and two granddaughters. They moved to Linton in 1990 and she started working with the staff and families at Myers Funeral Home in 2001. 

Sylvia loves to spend time with family, friends and each and every delightful moment spent with their granddaughters. 

 Eldon Nelson

Support Staff

Eldon was born in Linton and grew up on a farm in the Linton area. He graduated from Linton High School and served two years in the United States Army. Eldon returned to Linton where he was parts manager at Schaible Chevrolet for four years. 

He married Carol Van Beek at Westfield, North Dakota and the couple has four children. Eldon worked for the Department of Agriculture ASCS off ice in Linton for thirty-three years. After his retirement, Eldon worked for The Soil Conservation, planting trees. 

Eldon has been working with the staff and families at Myers Funeral Home since 1997.

 Wayne Kiemele

Support Staff

Wayne grew up on the family farm near Linton and graduated from Hazelton High School. He served in the National Guard for six years. 

He married Eileen Gimbel and took over the family farm where he farmed for forty years. Following their retirement, Wayne and Eileen moved into Linton.  

Wayne keeps active in the community and in the church. They enjoy spending time with their three children and eight grandchildren, who all live in Bismarck.

 Alvin Mosset

Support Staff

Al joined the staff at Myers Funeral Home in 2017. He grew up in Linton, and graduated from Linton High School. Al married Kathy Brecker and they raised two daughters, Valerie and Brenda. Al and Kathy have also been blessed with six grandchildren.

Al worked for Schumachers Inc. for 40 years, and with the Emmons County Ambulance for 20 years.

Al is a member of the Linton Fire Department, Linton Lions Club, and he is a board member at the Emmons County Hospital District.

Following his retirement, Al enjoys helping families at the funeral home, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
